I’m a Norwegian product designer (based in New York) who can code and excel with data and numbers.

I’m exploring how AI can augment urban development & climate resilience, drawing from my current work at Autodesk and my research at The New School’s Urban Systems Lab.

I’ve worked with high-growth startups and firms like Snapchat, McKinsey & Company, IBM, Procter & Gamble, and Ford Motor Company.

My formal education spans an MS in product design & human computer interaction @ University of Pennsylvania, and a BSc in software development & business @ The University of Manchester.

However, my informal education spans deep dives into fields like urban development, cognitive science, and learning science.

Fun facts

  • I was a childhood magician who used to perform on the streets of Oslo, while having my own shows at school.

  • I am a previous Norwegian record holder in 60m and 200m sprinting in my age class, and winner of national championships in track & field and soccer.

  • I helped one of my best friends raise 80,000 USD to fund his university studies, in 4 hours.

  • As a high schooler, I was amongst the youngest to finish top 5 in Harvard Business School Online's Inaugural Global Community Challenge.

  • I wrote an independent research paper on education reform just after high school with support from world-leading experts from Harvard, MIT, and Princeton.

  • Through cold-calling several business and tech executives during high school, I was invited to exciting coffee chats and job-shadowing opportunities feeding my curiosity.

  • I have launched multiple products at companies I interned at, and I spend some of my free time experimenting with product ideas and exploring emerging technologies.
